Head of Trucking Maintenance Division - Surabaya

PT Surya Buana Sentosa is a leading trucking and land transportation company with a diverse fleet of cargo trucks operating across Java and Sulawesi islands. We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated individual to lead our Maintenance Division, ensuring the operational efficiency and reliability of our trucks. As Head of Trucking Maintenance Division in Surabaya, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our fleet, managing a team of skilled technicians, and implementing cost-effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

In this role, you will work closely with our operations team to ensure that our trucks are always in optimal condition, adhering to industry best practices and regulatory requirements. You will also be involved in the procurement and management of spare parts, as well as the development and implementation of maintenance schedules and procedures. With your expertise and leadership, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our competitive edge in the transportation industry.

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of the company's fleet of cargo trucks, ensuring they are in optimal condition for safe and efficient operation.
• Manage a team of skilled technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality maintenance services.
• Develop and implement cost-effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks on trucks, identifying and addressing any potential issues.
• Work closely with the operations team to ensure that maintenance activities are scheduled and executed in a way that minimizes disruptions to daily operations.
• Oversee the procurement and management of spare parts, ensuring that the company has the necessary parts on hand to carry out maintenance activities.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures, ensuring that all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and analyze maintenance data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and make recommendations for changes to maintenance practices.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in truck maintenance, with a proven track record of success in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of truck maintenance practices and industry best practices.
• Experience with maintenance management software, such as SAP or Oracle.
• Proficient in Indonesian and English, both written and spoken.
• Certified by a recognized institution, such as the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) or the International Council on Clean Transportation (ICCT).
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
